Well, it seems we have to start with the rather corny saying that the early bird catches the worm! Or at least the three early birds caught slightly uneven shares of the same worm - all nett 74. Jane got the best bit of the worm with a cracking second nine in 37 including 2 birdies. Sarah B came in second and Janet brought up the rear. Jane has been threatening to stop playing at the Braids but this should keep her there for a bit. Phew!
Once again, as so often, there couldn't have been a nicer day for golf but that wasn't really reflected in the scores. It's hard to keep it together over that course.
It was great to see Ruth back playing in one of our competitions and she made a good run of it until 17 and 18 bit back.
The contenders for the medal winners play-off were Anne, Maxi, Janet, both Vivs and Carol. Janet came out top this time and Jane has secured her place in the 2022 medal winners play-off.
