Month: September 2017

The Final Medal was played on Friday 22 September and this was also Medals Winner Final.  Coleen Derighetti won both with a net 71.  Well done to her.  Hanne Robertson was second with a net 73 and they both made it a counter for the rest of us (who will be going up .1.!)  CSS 72

Jaci Moriarty and Mandy McBain won the hole and hole foursomes beating Sandra Ashurst and Lisa Kilpatrick at the 21st hole.  Well done them and commiserations Sandra and Lisa.

11 of us played in blowy but dry conditions.  Janet was 10 net shots better than the next and so won comfortably with a net 70 at the same time making it a counter for the rest of us trailing behind.  CSS 74.  So well done Janet winning and reducing handicap!

After a few good matches to get to the final Hanne Robertson has won the 2017 Hole and Hole competition defeating Sandra Ashurst.  Well done Hanne (and Sandra for getting to the final).

A belated mention that 9 of us played in this at end of August and Janet Reid Thomas came out on top with 36 points.  Well done.  CSS 72 or 36 points.

Louise Fraser, playing as Kingsknowe Champion won the Champion of Champions at Royal Burgess on Sunday beating Karen Marshall in a tight battle.  It is the third time Louise has won this, twice now for Kingsknowe and once for Comiston.  A terrific achievement.  Next year she will be playing in the competition as our Champion.  Lets hope she makes it four!

15 of us played in great weather - sunny and little breeze.  Out early Mandy McBain came back with the winning score of 38 points.  Well done her.  CSS 71 (37 points)
