At the beginning of October, one of our Comiston Members Viv Curran (also Mortonhall) and her partner Tracy Laughland (Mortonhall) won this year's Gibson Cup. Requiring as it does 3 rounds over the Braids, one on the Saturday to qualify and then two on Sunday in match play it was no mean feat particularly with the Saturday being very windy making it hard going. It was apparently a full entry this year and a terrific win.
