Similar to the Ryder Cup taking place at Gleneagles, the windy conditions in Edinburgh made it very difficult to control that little white ball! It was no surprise therefore that amidst stories of putts which turned aside at the last moment on the wind or shots that were blown off course, once all the numbers were crunched the CSS was Reduction Only.
Best net score of the day was Jane Griffiths with a 79 which won the extra medal . Only winners and runners-up of the earlier monthly medals were eligible to compete in the Medal Winners Medal which was won by Anne Brownie with a net 82.
