We could see Cramond Island when we set off on the first tee and after the glorious sunshine of the day before we were hoping for fine views of the Forth as we played our round at Silverknowes.  Instead the haar crept in and the rain started.  Nonetheless, everyone played on and were in good spirits when we made the nearby Toby Inn our 19th Hole.  Well done to all who played.

There's no doubt Silverknowes was playing long in the damp conditions but even so the top two teams tied on 71 points with the team of Viv Curran, Denise Mitchell and Jane Griffiths edging out Anne Brownie, Gail Joughin and Elsa Todd on countback (last 6 holes).  In third place were Christine Clements, Sandra Ashurst and Jacky Burnet.

Here's hoping for a warmer, sunnier day at Broomieknowe for our Autumn Outing.

The Draw has been done for the Comiston Ladies GC Outing to Silverknowes.  Emails will be sent to those in the Draw finalising what balance of fees is due on the day, and confirming arrangements.  The Teams  have been drawn as follows:
