Fiona Findlay won our final medal (on better inward half from Gail Joughin) with a net 77. To everyone else's relief it was therefore Reductions Only. CSS 74.
In the meantime Sue Cowie and Kirstin Everett were playing at the new Scottish Golf Competition qualifier towards a final in Turkey next year. Their qualifier was being held at West Linton. They were either only ladies in the field or two of very few! They played well to qualify for the next round which is being held at the Carrick on 14 October. Well done and good luck to them.
