Those who signed up for the Autumn Outing enjoyed a beautiful, balmy early autumn day in the Borders - a treat to be out on the course in weather like this. It was also good to have Christine and Elsa, both now Social Members, join us for the Outing.
Louise, Viv M and Maggie were the winners of the triam by some margin and Janet, Lesley and Elsa came in second. Congratulations to the winning team. Maggie the Mascot was, apparently, on fire!
Despite all the to-ing and fro-ing regarding the catering (Peebles' longterm chef has moved elsewhere and the replacement is self-isolating), it all worked out rather well. They were still able to provide us with bacon rolls beforehand and Viv C organised a mountain of very good sandwiches and wraps followed by a variety of wicked sweet things from Costco. Thank you Viv.
